Our Special Guests

This past weekend we had the wonderful privilege of spending time with some dear friends, who came all the way from Korea just to see us.:-)

When we lived in South Korea 10 years ago, we met Mrs. Bobitka and have periodically kept in touch since then. When she learned that we lived on the same side of the world once again, Mrs. Bobitka wanted to come visit us before we headed back to the States. Of course, we were so excited to have such a special visitor and were thrilled to welcome her and her youngest daughter (Mary) for the weekend!

We have enjoyed spending the past few days together as we showed them around town and introduced them to Angeles’ main source of entertainment, the SM Clark Mall. :-) Mary loved the carousel and other children’s activities within the mall.

We also took them to a nearby beach in Subic. With the humid tropical weather, we were excited for the chance to swim! Life with no AC always makes swimming appealing and enjoyable. :-)

 Mary has decided to get an early start on her photography career.:-) She was so cute to watch as she snapped pictures of everything!

It has been very special to have Mrs. Bobitka and Mary visit us here in the Philippines. We really appreciated them taking the time to come see us for the weekend. It has been great to see Mrs. Bobitka again and to meet her youngest daughter as well. We truly enjoyed our weekend with our special guests.:-)
