Last weekend we spent the day with some of the Texas Instruments families, who are living in Subic because it is closer to the international school. It was wonderful to visit with them again, since we had not seen the families since Christmas. We Feeny girls had a such a fun time playing with the Clifton and Espinosa kids. They are all so adorable and so much fun!
We had fun playing some games of tag with them.:-)
The two Sarahs! :-) Sarah Feeny and Sarah Clifton
Eli Clifton with his adorable, posed smile.:-)

Sarah with Samuel Espinosa
Melissa with Sydney Espinosa and Rebekah Clifton
Also, while we were in Subic, a funny thing happened to us: we had our first theft account. First, we want to share with you that some Filipinos are notorious for pick pocketing and stealing other items. Anytime we go to public places we always have to guard our purses or personal belongings. Yet, our first thief was not a person… it was a monkey, and it stole our car’s side mirror! Apparently, this has happened before to our friend’s neighbors since small monkeys roam the subdivisions and areas around Subic. Hopefully we can find a mirror to replace it soon, because it is quite crippling to drive in Angeles traffic without a side mirror.:-)
Trying to explain this story to others has been quite humorous.:-) Haha… It was definitely something out of the ordinary, but then again, living in the Philippines has been full of exciting and unusual experiences in and of itself. We sure enjoyed a good laugh from our first theft account.:-)
