This past week, seven precious boys and girls graduated from the kindergarten department of our Church’s Christian Academy.:-) (1st grade, get ready for some energetic boys and girls. Here they come!) For their graduation ceremony, each of the students participated in a musical skit, shared a brief overview of what they had learned over the year, and even sang some specials.Throughout the school year, Mom had the opportunity to work with these adorable students by helping their teacher with various lesson preparations and craft planning. Mom also became their designated bus driver for several class field trips. Aside from these titles, Mom jokingly calls herself their “adopted grandma,” because she loved treating them to occasional homemade goodies and snacks. She enjoyed every time she went to class! Their classroom was always filled with high energy and enthusiasm—coming not only from the kids, but also from the teacher, Karen.:-)
Since Mom worked with the kids every week over the past several months, we girls have loved getting to know these dear boys and girls as well. Their hugs and smiles can melt one’s heart! Along with their parents, we were so proud of the children for their achievements of this past year.:-) Each boy and girl has grown up so much!
Children truly are a blessing from the Lord.:-) We hope you enjoy these pictures of their graduation night.

"Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD, and the fruit of the womb is his reward." - Psalms 127:3

Here is Jerico making his way down the aisle. He's the youngest of the class and also the most animated.:-)

They each did such a wonderful job in their musical skit. It seems as if they have absolutely no fear of being on stage.:-)

Here, Raymond is taking his turn in sharing one of the letters of the English alphabet that they learned this year. (Before they entered kindergarten, none of the children knew any English. Now, one year later, they can speak and understand English quite well!:->)

Their voices, no doubt, brought smiles to every listeners' ear.:-)
